14:15 | AdEx 2010 - The results presentation and discussion
IAB Europe's Head of Research Catherine Borrel and Vice Chairman Thomas Duhr will be joined by research partners Screen Digest for a full review of the 2010 AdEx findings. Be amongst the first people to hear how online advertising performed in 2009 as the industry continued to face tough times. What markets are growing – which are maturing? For the first time we’ll be announcing mobile advertising results and figures from Russia. There'll also be a lively panel debate with figures from across the industry discussing what the research means for them. As this session was standing room only last year we advise you to get there early. |

16:00 | Afternoon Session - split into 2 streams
Day 1 now splits into two streams. Delegates can choose from: Stream 1: Social Media and Online Branding Following the successful session at Interact last year, Tom Smith of Global Web Index will share the latest findings and show how social media can positively impact branding. After a short presentation, he will be joined by Amy Kean, Head of IAB UK’s Social Media Council and some of it's members. Robin Grant, Managing Director We Are Social, Tom Ollerton, Senior Marketing Manager, Skive and Brad Little, Head of Nielsen Buzzmetrics, The Nielsen Company will share case studies of the social media affect in action. This is an interactive session and we hope you'll be ready with questions and observations of your own experiences. OR Stream 2: IAB Europe's Purchase Index IAB Europe and Google have collaborated in 2010 to develop the Purchase Index, a research project looking at how European consumers purchase online. Javier Zappatero, Google’s country manager for Spain joins Catherine Borrel of IAB Europe to present and discuss the findings. This session will be supplemented with research from our MCDC research programme.

Laurent Delaporte, Vice President, Microsoft Advertising EMEA will discuss how brands are putting online at the heart of their brand strategy - and how today more than ever you've got to crack online engagement to survive.
